After the gaming the kids went back to the table and had pizza. Right after that came the big, frozen themed birthday cake. I don't know how they could all finish it, it was so much. Meanwhile a show was going on where some guy dressed as Chuck the Mouse sang and danced all kinds of birthday songs. The silly part is that that was not only for Caroline, but also for the other 2 birthdays that were going on at the same time in the same hall. I was a little surpprised by how unpersonal the birthday was. When you came in you had to drop off your present on the table and you didn't congratulate the birthday girl until the end of the party. Also the fact that there were other birthdays going on at the same time was kind of weird to me.
This afternoon Miss Cathleen, the head of the school, had texted Manon to ask if I would like to spend the evening with some kids my age, since I had been with the little kids all week. And so I did. I came to their house and Jack, Miss Cathleen's 15 year old son had invited some friends over. We first had some hamburgers and we played some basketball and ping pong, which was really fun! After that we went to see The Amazing Spiderman 2. It was such a cool experience to be with the American kids my age and just talk about the differences between their country and mine, but also just experience how were were actually the same in some ways.

Niels :
Nothing personal but our teachers should be ashamed.
I was fun too.
